Our React Right course is SSI’s emergency first response course and provides you with the training and knowledge you need to act as a first responder in a medical emergency

Using a combination of academic sessions and practical training scenarios, this program will give you the tools and confidence you need for emergency response. By the time you are certified, you will be able to act as an emergency first responder, provide first aid and CPR, administer oxygen and provide AED support in a medical emergency.

Our React Right Primary Care (CPR) & Secondary Care (First Aid) Course prepares you to deal with medical emergencies, by teaching you the latest emergency care, covering a variety of topics including;

 Primary Care:

• The role of helping others in need

• Scene assessment

• Barrier use

• Primary assessment

• Rescue breathing

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

• Serious bleeding management

• Shock management

• Spinal injury management

• Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

• Conscious choking adult

Secondary Care

• Injury assessment

• Illness assessment

• Bandaging

• Splinting for dislocations and fractures

After completing all course requirements, you will be certified as an SSI React Right Provider–a certification that will be valid for two years.
