Beach Clean Ups and Local Litter Picking

Here at Ipswich Scuba, we are proud Blue Oceans Ambassadors and Conservationists. Which is why we plan to host a number of events each year around Conserving our planet and the wonderful Oceans we get to dive.

Why take part in litter picking and beach clean ups?

Even though you may think that litter inland is not a problem to our underwater world - it is? The plastics and litter you see roadside on the motor way or around town may eventually end up in the sea and litter by the river or by the sea side we love to visit than the likelihood of it getting into our ocean and affecting the wildlife that lives there is huge.  Therefore any litter picked up and responsibly refused or recycled will help.

As part of this we plan Beach and River Clean Up sessions and invite you and your family and friends to come along and join us. All you need to do is bring some gardening gloves and ideally a high-vis top and we can supply the rest.

Kids are welcome as long as supervised.
