Become an Assistant Instructor with SSI
The Assistant Instructor rating is the next step after becoming a Divemaster along the Scuba Instructor pathway. It allows you to build upon your scuba diving skills and provides opportunities to conduct scuba diving programs, organise and supervise scuba diving activities, with lots of chances to develop your teaching skills.
The Assistant Instructor program is great for those wishing to enhance their training and teaching, and if you are not sure if instructing is for you, this program gives you the chance to teach without completing the fill instructor program.
If you then want to further your career as a dive professional, you can finish the Instructor Training Course, pass the Instructor Evaluation, and become an Open Water Diving Instructor.
