The Boat
The M/Y SS Contessa is a stunning 5-star vessel, renowned for its cheerful interior design and impressive size, making it unmatched in the Red Sea. Its design ensures smooth navigation even in high seas, providing maximum safety and comfort.
On board there are two salons for guests' enjoyment: a relaxing main deck salon with a top-notch audio and video system and an upper deck dining area with a magnificent 360-degree view of the open sea. The half-shaded sundeck offers a perfect spot to unwind during cool evenings, while the top deck is ideal for sun lovers seeking a perfect tanning spot.
Accommodating 24 guests in 12 beautifully designed cabins, each equipped with AC and en-suite facilities, the vessel offers 8 cabins on the lower deck and 4 on the main deck. Ten of these are twin cabins, while the remaining two are double bed cabins.
The Diving
" A must-do for any diver"
"The best diving ever"
The Red Sea lies between Africa and Asia and is surrounded by desert. The warm waters, minimal rainfall and sunny days attract travellers from all over the world. The diving season is year-round with visibility averaging 30m.
There are over 1200 species of marine life that can be found in the Red Sea, the most common are clown fish, moray, turtles, napoleon, and parrot fish. Add to this world-famous wrecks, sharks, dolphins, pristine corals and even the elusive dugong, and you have a diving destination that has something wonderful around every corner.
Brothers, Daedalus, Elphinstone (BDE)
The Brother Islands, the tops of two undersea mountains rising from the depth, can be explored while diving the Red Sea about 50 nautical miles offshore, near the town of Quseir. The Aida II, an Egyptian supply vessel and the Numidia, a cargo ship, lie on the walls of the Big Brother and can be explored on this Red Sea diving safari. Daedalus Reef is a big oval reef with a lighthouse and its perimeter of walls offers some of the most stunning diving in the Red Sea.
The thresher shark, an oceanic species, as well as the magnificent Whale shark, occasionally spotted close to the reef. Finally, this diving safari finishes with Elphinstone, a truly legendary Red Sea diving reef where you can expect the unexpected.
