Our Open Water certification means you can dive to 18 meters with a buddy anywhere in the world. Plus once you are qualified you are qualified for life - think of it like a Divers Licence.
Learning to dive is much easier than you think and if you do it combined with a Dry Suit Specialty you will have your fist diving specialty as well for a discounted price.
Drysuit diving opens up a world of opportunities, including diving remote Arctic destinations and exploring cold-water dive sites teeming with life, especially worthwhile if you want to dive in the UK and wish to join us on one of our exciting UK trips.
Dry suit diving also keeps you warm on multi-dive days when you do not want to spend your time getting in and out of a cold wetsuit.
Our SSI Dry Suit Diving specialty program is the best way to become a dry suit diver and teaches you all the knowledge and techniques you need to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit.
You will learn how to use specialized equipment, like dry suits and BCs, the benefits of dry suits and how to deal with dry suit emergencies – unique to this type of diving. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving specialty certification.
To complete the course you will need to complete online learning, one confined water pool session for dry suit orientation, and 2 Open Water Dry Suit dives completed on one of our Open Water weekends.
It is important you come to see us before your orientation so we can accurately measure you up for the best-fitting dry suit.

Once you have registered for your course, we will send you your diving materials and will contact you to arrange your classroom orientation, book your pool sessions, and get you started.
Your 90-minute pool sessions will take place on a Tuesday evening with high-quality instructors and equipment to ensure comfort through your sessions where you will learn new skills and experience the magical underwater world.
We conduct the Open Water dives usually over a weekend at Stoney Cove or another location with easy access to water. During your open water dives you will perform all the skills you have practiced and mastered in the pool and experience more amazing underwater dives.
All sessions will be briefed and guided by one of the fantastic instructors who will be with you every step or fin stroke of the way.
